Rohan Kalahasty

Hi, my name is Rohan. My interests are disparate, but lay primarily in the fields of intelligence, neuroscience, and health. My work is generally interdisciplinary though, and I tend to branch out.

I currently work at a37.ai, where we are creating a better way to manage cloud at scale. Prior to this, on the startup/corporate side, I helped build Vytal.ai, at 15, where we built lightweight geometric gaze models for scalable webcam eyetracking, raised $1.3M, and piloted at labs across the country. I also played various roles (both technical and operational) at early ventures within Roivant Biosciences and Mayo Clinic, and interned at TripleBlind.

On the academic side, I built SOTA foundation models for ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, and used AI to model the brain at MIT CBMM's Metaconscious lab under Dr. Christopher Cueva. I’m now at Caltech, studying physics and philosophy, and exploring geometric perspectives on LLM reasoning at the Anima AI+Science Lab.
